( Beef with Chinese broccoli).
This savory beef with crisp Chinese broccoili stir-fry is absolutely delicious Khmer Krom recipe.
- Ingredients :
- ¼ Cup water
- ½ Tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 Tablespoon fish sauce
- 1 Tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 Tablespoon sugar
- ½ lb Sirloin beef, sliced thin
- 1 Tablespoon soy sauce
- ¼ Teaspoon black pepper
- 1 Yellow onion, sliced
- 2 Tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 Cloves garlic, minced
- 1 lb Chinese broccoili , chopped leaves and stems, seperated
- Procedures :
In a small bowl, mix water with cornstarch, fish sauce, oyster sauce and sugar, mix well and set it a side.
In a large bowl, marinated beef with soy sauce, black pepper and yellow onion, mix together and set a side.
Heat up a wok or skillet in high temperature.
When skillet is hot, add oil, garlic, marinated beef and Chinese broccoli stems, stirs well.
Covered skillet with lid for few minutes.
Removed lid, add Chinese broccoli leaves and stirs well.
Pour prepared cornstarch sauce on top, stirs till sauce thicken.
Serve hot with rice.
