Pa-con char pa-le.
( Shrimp and vegetables stir fry).
Mouth watering shrimps stir fry with mix vegetables is one of the best recipes from Khmer Krom in Karmourn Sor. This is very easy and fast recipe. Make sure everything ready,in order,because it take very little time to cook.
- Ingredients :
- ½ Cup water
- ¼ Teaspoon salt
- 2 Tablespoons cornstarch
- ½ Tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 Tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 Tablespoon fish sauce
- 1 Tablespoon sugar
- 3 Tablespoon vegetable oil
- 3 Cloves garlic,minced
- ½ lb Shrimp,peeled and de-veined
- 2 Carrots, peeled and sliced thin
- ½ Head of cabbage,chopped
- 1 Canned 8oz sliced bamboo shoot, drained
- 6 Stalks green onion, cut an inch in length
- ¼ Teaspoon black pepper
- Procedures :
In a small bowl, mix water with salt,cornstarch, soy sauce, oyster sauce , fish sauce and sugar. Mix well and set a side.
Heat a skillet or wok on high temperature.
When wok hot add oil, garlic and shrimps. Stirs.
Add carrot, cabbage and bamboo shoot. Stirs well.
Note: Do not over cook cabbage.
Seasoning with cornstarch sauce, stirs well till sauce thicken.
Add green onion leaves, stirs well.
Top with black pepper.
Serve hot with rice.
