Tirk slirk s'krey.
(Lemon grass sauce).
Khmer country food, sweet, sour and spicy fish sauce with lemon grass is delicious for dipping meat or fish.
- Ingredients :
- 1/3 Cup hot water
- 1/3 Cup sugar
- ¼ Cup fresh lime juice (approx 2 limes)
- 1/3 Cup fish sauce
- 2 Cloves garlic, minced
- ¼ Cup fresh or frozen minced lemon grass
- 2 Chopped hot chili pepper, or to your taste (option)
- Procedures :
In a small bowl, mix hot water with sugar till sugar dissolved.
Add lime juice, fish sauce, garlic, lemon grass and pepper, stirs well before serve.
