(Mandarin orange fish.)
Crispy fried basa fish with colorful Mandarin orange sauce is absolutely delicious and very easy prepare.
- Ingredients :
- 1 Can,11 oz, whole segments Mandarin orange
- ½ Tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 Tablespoon soy sauce
- ¼ Teaspoon salt
- ¼ Teaspoon black pepper
- 2 Tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 lb Fillet basa or catfish
- 1 Tablespoon vegetable oil
- 2 Clove garlic, minced
- ½ Yellow onion, chopped
- 1 Stalk celery, diced
- 1 Medium size tomato, diced
- Procedures :
Pour juice from can Mandarin orange in to a small bowl, add cornstarch, soy sauce, salt and black pepper together, mix well, set a side.
Set a side orange segments.
Pre heat a skillet or wok with high temperature.
When skillet is hot, add oil and fish, pan-fry fish till both sides golden brown, removed fried fish from skillet and put it in a large plate, set a side.
Using to the same skillet, add 1 tablespoon oil, garlic, onion, celery, and tomato, stirs well.
Pour cornstarch sauce over, stirs well till sauce thicken, add orange segments, stirs gently.
Pour Mandarin orange sauce on top fried fish.
Serve hot with rice.
