(Turkey burger.)
American turkey burger seasoning with Khmer Krom favorite spices is absolutely delicious.
- Ingredients :
- 1½ to 2 lbs grounded turkey breast
- 3 Cloves garlic, minced
- 1 Yellow onion, minced
- 1 Tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 Tablespoon oyster sauce
- ½ Tablespoon sugar
- ¼ Teaspoon salt
- ¼ Teaspoon black pepper
- 4 Kaiser or hamburger buns
- 1 Tomato, sliced
- A couple of lettuce leaves
- Procedures :
In a large bowl, mix grounded turkey with garlic, onion, soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, salt and black pepper, mix well. Using your hand to formed 4 meat patties. (Meat patty should be bigger than bun because it will shrink when it cooked, and meat patty should be little thick to keep it moist.)
Cook turkey patties on low heated grill till it golden brown on both sides.
TO SERVE:
Spreads thin layers of mayonnaise and ketchup on inside of both top and bottom bun. Put a piece of grilled turkey patty on bottom bun, top with a slice of tomato and some lettuce.
Most Khmer Krom prefers carrot with daikon relish with sandwich.
Serve hot.
