(Egg fried rice.)
Egg fried rice is delicious Khmer country food that usually makes with left over rice. It is very tasty and easy to prepare.
Most Khmer Krom prefers egg-fried rice for breakfast or late night snacks.
- Ingredients :
- 4 Cups left over cooked rice.
- 2 Eggs. Beaten.
- 2 Tablespoons cooking oil.
- 2 Cloves garlic. Minced.
- ½ Yellow onion. Minced.
- ½ Teaspoon salt.
- ¼ Teaspoon black pepper.
- 1 Tablespoon fish sauce. (Option).
- Procedures :
Heat up non-stick skillet or wok, pour cooking oil when it hot.
Add garlic, onion and rice. Stirs well.
Mix fish sauce with beaten egg and pour it over rice. Stirs well.
Seasoning with salt and black pepper. Stirs rice till it separated and fluffy.
