( Kaffir lime crab)
Boiled crab with kaffir lime leaves flavor is tasty Khmer Krom appetizer *mahope sar*. Back home we use mostly Dungeon crab because seafood is abundant, and much cheaper comparing to meat.
- Ingredients :
- 2 Dungeon crab or 6 large Maryland blue crab
- 4 Kaffir lime leaves
- 10 Cups water
- Procedures :
Brushed and cleaned crab shells well.
Placed crab in a large pot with kaffir lime leaves and pour water on top,
covered pot with lid and boiled crab for 20 minutes.
Serve hot or warm with salt mixed with black pepper and fresh lemon juice.
