Delicious steamed chicken with soy sauce is very simple and very easy Sino- Khmer Krom recipe.
- Ingredients :
- ¼ Cup soy sauce
- 3 Cloves garlic, minced
- 1 Teaspoon salt
- ¼ Teaspoon white pepper
- 1 Chicken, 4-5 lbs
- 3 Stalks green onion, cut 4 inches in length
- Procedures :
In a small bowl, mix soy sauce with garlic, salt and white pepper together, mix well, set a side.
Put chicken in a steam-able dish, rubs prepared sauce on all over chicken.
Stuffed green onion in side chicken cavity, the chicken dish in a steamer, steamed for 1 ½ hour or till chicken tender. Do not over cooked chicken.
Serve hot with rice or wraps with lettuce, mix herbs, banh hoi noodle and dips with sweet fish sauce.
