Spaghetti with sausage.
(Num pachok Italy nung sach kok.)
My family and friends loves spaghetti with little sausages. This popular Italian influenced recipe is very easy to make and absolutely delicious.
- Ingredients :
- NOODLES:
- 1 lb Package Italian spaghetti noodle
- 8 Cups water
- SAUCE:
- 2 Tablespoons vegetable oil
- 4 Cloves garlic,minced
- 1 Yellow onion, chopped
- ½ lb Grounded beef
- ¼ Teaspoon salt
- 1 Teaspoon sugar
- ¼ Teaspoon black pepper
- 1 Tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 Jar (1 lb 10 oz) Ragu spaghetti sauce
- 3 Cups water
- ½ Package of Hillshire Farm little sausages
- Procedures :
NOODLES:
Boiled 8 cups water in a large pot. Add noodles to boiling water and cook till it tender.
Pour cooked noodle in to a large colander, rinsed under cold water and set it a side to drain.
SAUCE:
Pre-heat a large non-stick pot. Add oil when it hot.
Sauté garlic, onion and grounded beef.
Seasoning meat with soy sauce, salt, sugar and black pepper.
Pour Ragu spaghetti sauce and 3 cups water in to the pot. Stirs well.
Add little sausages, stirs and simmering till sauce reduced. (Stirs occasionally while cooking.)
TO SERVE:
Put some cooked noodle on a plate, pour some hot spaghetti sauce over noodle and serve immediately.
Most Khmer Krom likes spaghetti with lot of chili pepper and Parmesan bread.
