Pork meatball sandwich with French influence is very popular in Kampuchea Krom. Crusty French bread with pork meatball *xiu-mai* is very popular and delicious Khmer Krom sandwich. Our people eat pork meatball sandwich for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks.
For this sandwich, you'll need to make ahead * Xiu-mai* pork meatball and carrot and daikon relish.
- Ingredients :
- 4 Loaves French bread
- Butter to spreads on bread
- Few stalks cilantro (option)
- Procedures :
Pre-heat oven at 400 degrees. Slit French bread open and put breads inside oven, heat it up for 3 minutes or till outside is crusty.
Spreads butter on bread, add some * Xiu-mai* pork meatball , top with carrot and daikon relish, and top with couple stalks cilantro.
