Borbo s'det khieu tirk kos.
( Mung bean and sea-weed drink.)
Popular and unique recipe of sweet mung bean with seaweed that could serves hot, warm for dessert or ice cold for refreshment.
- Ingredients :
- ½ Cup dried mung bean, soaked for 4 hours, rinsed and drained
- 1 Fresh or frozen pandan leaf
- 9 Cups water
- ½ Cup dried sea weed, soaked in cold water, rinsed and drained
- 1 Cup sugar
- 1 Cup palm sugar or light brown sugar
- ½ Teaspoon salt
- Procedures :
In a large pot, put mung beans with pandan leaf and water, cook till beans tender.
Add sea weed, sugar, palm sugar and salt, stirs till the sugar dissolved, continue to cook till water bubbling.
Turn of the heat and let it cool off before serve.
Add ice cubes when serve.
