(Peppered braised beef.)
Braised beef with spicy peppered and tomato sauce is delicious and very easy Khmer Krom recipes.
- Ingredients :
- 1 Red bell pepper, seeded and chopped
- 2 Chili pepper or to your taste(option)
- ¼ Teaspoon paprika
- 1 Canned 15 oz Hunt’s tomato sauce
- 2 Tablespoons vegetable oil
- 6 Cloves garlic, minced
- 1 Yellow onion, chopped
- 2 lbs Beef chuck, cut chunks bite sizes
- 2 Tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 Tablespoon sugar
- ½ Teaspoon salt
- ¼ Teaspoon black pepper
- 4 Cups water
- Procedures :
In a blender, put red bell pepper, chili pepper, paprika and tomato sauce, blended well and set a side.
Pre heat a large soup pot with high temperature.
When soup pot is hot, add oil, garlic, onion and beef, stirs well.
Seasoning meat with soy sauce, sugar, salt and black pepper, stirs well.
Add prepared tomato sauce and water, stirs well and simmering till meat tender and sauce reduced.
Serve hot with rice , rice noodles or bread.
