(Grilled fish with ginger sauce.)
My favorite childhood food, crispy grilled Asian catfish *trey naing* with ginger fish sauce is simple, easy and very delicious Khmer country recipe.
I used catfish for this recipe.
- Ingredients :
- 1 Whole Asian, Basa or catfish , 1½-2 lbs
- ½ Cup baking soda
- Procedures :
To clean fish, rubs baking soda on all over catfish, rinses under cold water before dressed fish.
Cook fish on hot grill till both sides golden brown, when fish cooked put fish on a serving plate and pour *tirk chnay* gingery fish sauce on top.
Serve immediately with rice and raw or cooked vegetables, or slices cucumber and mix herbs.
Enjoy.
