( Golden fried scallop )
Golden brown pan fried scallop is great to serves as appetizer (mahope sar) or with rice.
- Ingredients :
- 1 lb Jumbo sea scallop
- 1 Tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 Tablespoon oyster sauce
- ½ Tablespoon sugar
- ¼ Teaspoon black pepper
- 1 Large cloves garlic, minced
- 1 Tablespoon vegetable oil
- Procedures :
Filled a large bowl with cold water, gently immerses each piece of scallop into the water, drained (this process is to wash off any residues sands). Put scallop in a plate and set a side.
In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, black pepper and garlic together. Pour marinade sauce on scallop.
Pre-heat a nonstick skillet or wok with high temperature.
When skillet is hot, add oil, pan-fried marinated scallop till both sides golden brown. Do not over cook scallop.
Serve hot with rice or as appetizer.
