(Calamondin drink. )
Orange color citrus fruit calamondin as small as kumquats and taste of a mixture of orange, tangerine and lime. Originate from China, the dwaf trees calamondin are very popular house’s plants. On Chinese New Year, Sino-Khmer Krom would gives ornament calamondin trees to families and friends as token of good wishes.
Khmer Krom use calamondin fruits for cooking and for making beverage drinks such as this tasty refreshment.
- Ingredients :
- 4 Calamondin
- 1 Cup club soda, seltzer water or water.
- 3 Tablespoons sugar.
- 2 Cups ice cubes.
- Procedures :
Sliced 1 calamondin, removes seeds and set a side.
Cut 3 calamondin in half, removed seeds and squeezed the juice in to a tall glass, add sugar and Club soda with calamondin juice, stirs till sugar dissolved, add ice cubes and garnish with slices calamondin.
Serve immediately.
