Spicy hot, crispy bake chicken thighs savoring with honey and calamondin glazed is delicious.
Orange color, miniature citrus fruit calamondin taste of a mixture of orange and lime. We uses calamondin with cooking and drinks.
Sino-Khmer Krom gives little ornaments calamondin plants
to families and friends on Chinese New Year as token of good wishes.
For this recipe, calamondin can be substitutes with fresh squeeze lime/lemon juice.
- Ingredients :
- 4 Chicken thighs
- 1 Tablespoon calamondin juice
- 2 Tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 Tablespoons honey
- ½ Teaspoon paprika
- ½ Teaspoon salt
- 3 Cloves garlic, minced
- 4 Minced hot chili pepper or to your taste(option)
- ¼ Teaspoon black pepper
- Procedures :
In a small bowl, mix calamondin juice with soy sauce, honey, paprika, salt, garlic, chili pepper and black pepper together, mix well.
Put chicken in a baking dish, rubs prepared calmondin sauce on both sides chicken, covered with foil and refrigerated it over night or at least 4 hours.
Pre-heat oven at 350 degrees, put chicken in oven, bake for 30 minutes,
removed foil and continue to bake 30 minutes more or till it crispy.
Serve hot or warm with rice.
