( Barbecue peppered pork. )
Most Khmer Krom loves hot spicy foods. This hot spicy barbecue pork meat is absolutely delicious. Barbecue peppered pork is great for *mahope sar appetizer, with rice, with cold noodles or with sandwich.
- Ingredients :
- ¼ Cup water
- 1 Tablespoon oyster sauce, or vegetarian oyster sauce
- 1 Tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 Tablespoon light brown sugar
- 2 Cloves garlic, minced
- ¼ Teaspoon black pepper
- 3 Crushed hot chili pepper, or to your taste (option)
- 1-1½ lbs Lean pork meat or country ribs cut, sliced thin
- Procedures :
In a large bowl, mix water with oyster sauce, soy sauce, sugar, garlic, black and chili pepper together, mix well, add pork meat, mix well, covered bowl with foil and refrigerated over night or at least 4 hours.
Cook marinated pork meat on hot grill with low temperature till meat tender and both sides golden brown.
Serve hot or warm.
