( Baked bread with beef)
Khmer Krom people love bread as much as rice or noodle. French influence recipe with crispy French toasted and grounded beef is delicious appetizer .
- Ingredients :
- 2 Tablespoons hoisin sauce
- 2 Small loaves French bread, slices
- ½ lb Grounded beef
- 1 Egg, slightly beaten
- 2 Cloves garlic, minced
- ½ Yellow onion,minced
- ½ Teaspoon cornstarch
- ¼ Teaspoon five spice powder
- ½ Teaspoon fish sauce
- 1 Teaspoon soy sauce
- 1 Teaspoon sugar
- ¼ Teaspoon black pepper
- Procedures :
Preheat oven for 350 degree.
Spreads thin layer of hoisin sauce on top of each slices of bread , when done set it a side.
In a large bowl, mix ground beef with egg, garlic, onion, cornstarch and five spice powder together, mix well, add fish sauce, soy sauce, sugar, and black pepper, mix well.
Spreads prepared meat on bread and places it on a baking sheet.
Bake it for 20 minutes or till it crispy golden brown.
Serve hot.
