Salor tohu kachay.
(Vegetarian tofu with chive soup)
This popular Khmer Krom vegetarian soup with tofu and chive is easy and delicious.
- Ingredients :
- 4 Cups water
- 2 Pieces tofu, cut small chunks
- ½ lb, fresh chive, cut an inch length
- 1 Tablespoon mushroom sauce
- ½ Teaspoon salt
- ½ Tablespoon sugar
- ¼ Teaspoon black pepper
- Procedures :
Boil water in a soup pot, add tofu to the boiling water, stirs.
Seasoning with mushroom sauce,salt, sugar and black pepper.
Add chive, continue to cook till water bubbling.
Serve hot with rice.
