(Grilled honey pork. )
Grilled pork meat with honey sauce is delicious. This practical Khmer Krom recipe can serves either with rice, noodle or as *mahope sar* appetizer.
My family favorite is grilled meat wraps with rice thread noodles *num banh hoi*, lettuce, mints and cucumber, then dips with sweet fish sauce.
- Ingredients :
- 1½ lbs Country ribs pork or pork tenderloin, sliced thin strips
- 3 Cloves garlic, minced
- 1 Stalk green onion, minced
- 1 Tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 Tablespoon oyster sauce
- ¼ Teaspoon salt
- 1 Tablespoon honey
- ¼ Teaspoon black pepper
- Procedures :
Put pork meat in a large container, set a side.
In a blender, put garlic, green onion, soy sauce, oyster sauce, salt, honey and black pepper, blended well.
Pour prepared sauce on pork meat, mix well, covered container with lid, refrigerated it over night or at least 4 hours.
Put marinated pork meat on hot grill in medium temperature, cook till meat tender and golden on both sides.
Serve hot as an appertizer *mahope sar*, with rice, or wraps meat with rice noodle *num banh hoi*, lettuce, herbs and dips in sweet fish sauce.
