(Pasta soup with taro.)
Delicious bow noodles with aroma taro root and pork meat is unique blend of East meet West. This is one of many great recipes from Khmer Krom in *Kampongkou* Tan An.
- Ingredients :
- 5 Cups water
- 1 lb. Country style pork meat, cut chunks
- 2 Cups already peeled and cut small chunks taro root
- 1 Cup uncook bow pasta
- 2 Tablespoons fish sauce
- 1 Tablespoon sugar
- ½ Teaspoon salt
- ¼ Teaspoon black pepper
- 2 Stalks green onion, chopped
- Procedures :
In a soup pot, boiled water and meat, cook till meat tender.
Add taro and pasta, cook till pasta and taro tender.
Seasoning with fish sauce, sugar, salt and black pepper, stirs well.
Top with green onion before serve.
Serve hot with chili sauce.
