(Gingery pork patty).
Typical Khmer Krom dinner usually come with soup, stir fried vegetables and caramelized or salty side dish. Gingery pork patty is delicious side dish and easy to prepare. This recipe is also very good with grounded turkey or grounded chicken.
- Ingredients :
- 1 lb Grounded pork or grounded turkey, or grounded chicken
- 2 Clove garlic, minced
- 4 Stalks green onion, chopped
- ½ Teaspoon fresh grated ginger root
- 1 Tablespoon soy sauce
- ½ Tablespoon fish sauce
- ½ Tablespoon sugar
- ¼ Teaspoon black pepper
- 2 Tablespoons vegetable oil
- Procedures :
In a large bowl, mix grounded pork with garlic, green onion, ginger, soy sauce, fish sauce, sugar, and black pepper, mix well, take some prepared meat and using your palms form a patty, continue make meat patty till meat gone.
Pre heat a skillet or wok with medium temperature.
When skillet hot, add oil and put meat patties in, cook till both sides of meat patty golden brown.
Sliced meat cake to bite sizes before serve.
Serve hot with rice and sweet fish sauce.
