(Grilled grounded shrimp on stick )
Golden grilled shrimp paste on skewers and peanut sauce is delicious appetizer from Khmer Krom in *Karmourn Sor* Rach Gia province.
- Ingredients :
- 1 lb Medium size shrimp, peeled, de-veined and grounded
- 1 Stalk green onion,minced
- 2 Cloves garlic, minced
- ¼ Teaspoon salt
- ¼ Teaspoon sugar
- 1 Tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 Teaspoon sesame oil
- ¼ Teaspoon black pepper
- A dozen of bamboo skewers (pre-soaked with cold water)
- Procedures :
In a large bowl, mix grounded shrimp with onion, garlic, salt, sugar,cornstarch, oil and black pepper together, mix well, makes into a shrimp ball and threads a bamboo skewer to center. Use palm squeezes shrimp ball to elongate it shape, continue until the shrimp paste gone.
Cook shrimp on hot grill till it golden brown.
Serve hot with peanut sauce.
