( Fried frog legs)
Golden crispy fried frog legs is one of Khmer favorite appetizers.
- Ingredients :
- 1 lb Skinless frog legs
- 2 Cloves garlic,minced
- ¼ Teaspoon salt
- ½ Teaspoon soy sauce
- ¼ Teaspoon black pepper
- 1 Cup ice cold water
- Dash of salt
- 1 Cup All purpose flour
- 6 Cups vegetable oil for deep fry
- Procedures :
In a large bowl, put frog legs, garlic, salt, soy sauce and black pepper together, mix well and set a side.
In a small bowl, mix ice cold water with salt and All purpose flour, mixed well and set a side.
Heat up oil in a frying pan or wok with high temperature.
When oil bubbling hot, dips frog leg in prepared flour and drops it in hot oil, deep-fried frog legs till golden brown.
Removes fried frog legs from hot oil, put it on a plate covered with paper towel to drained.
Serve hot with ginger fish sauce dipping, and carrot and daikon relish.
