(Grilled fish with green mango slaw.)
Grilled Asian catfish with crisp green mango slaw is delicious authentic Khmer country food.
- Ingredients :
- 2 Whole fresh Asian catfish or 1 lb package frozen Asian Catfish, clean fish, rubs with baking soda, rinsed well
- 1 or 2 Green mango, peeled and shredded
- 3 Tablespoons fresh lime juice
- 1 Tablespoon sugar
- 3 Chopped hot chili pepper, or to your taste (option)
- Procedures :
In a small bowl, mix limejuice with sugar and hot chili pepper together, set a side.
Arranges shredded mango on a large plate and pour mix lime juice evenly on top, set a side.
Grilled catfish till fish golden brown on both sides, remove cooked fish from the grill, put on top of green mango slaw.
Serve with rice and tamarind sauce, or with shrimp paste sauce, or plain fish sauce with lot of chopped hot chili pepper.
