( Khmer Krom grilled steak).
Khmer Krom grilled steak is delicous and very easy to prepare.
Back home, the poor cook mainly with seafood. Rarely the villagers could afford meat, and beef is one of the most expensive meats in Kampuchea Krom.
- Ingredients :
- 1 lb New York or sirloin steak
- 2 Cloves garlic, minced
- 1 Tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 Tablespoon oyster sauce
- ¼ Teaspoon black pepper
- Procedures :
Put steak in a large container, set a side.
In a small bowl, mix soy sauce with oyster sauce, garlic and black pepper together, mix well, rubs sauce evenly on both sides beef steak. For better taste meat, covered container with lid and refrigerated at least 4 hours.
Pre-heat grill with high temperature, make sure the grill is hot before put steak on grill or else meat will be tough and dry, grill beef steak to your liking.
Serve hot with rice.
